600 g self-raising flour , sifted
1 teaspoon dry mustard
30 g butter ( plus extra for greasing )
500 ml milk ( approximately )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

6.Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each into a round ball.
7.Place the balls of dough onto the prepared baking tray, lightly flatten them, and use a sharp knife to make a shallow cross on top of each.
8.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
9.Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
