7 g dried yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
4 cups bread flour

1/4 cup powdered milk
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons parsley , chopped

100 g cheddar cheese , grated
milk , to glaze

Instructions

1.In a small bowl, mix yeast, sugar and 3/4 cup of warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes until it froths.
2.In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, powdered milk, olive oil, parsley, chives and grated cheese.
3.Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and mix to form a dough.
4.Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
5.Put the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover and set aside in a warm place for an hour until it has doubled in size.
6.Preheat the oven to 190C/375F. Grease a loaf tin or round baking dish.
7.Punch down the dough and divide it into golf ball-sized pieces.
8.Roll each piece into a ball and dip it into the milk, then arrange the balls in the tin or dish in 2 layers.
9.Cover with a damp towel and let it rise again for 20-30 minutes.
10.Bake for 25-30 minutes until it is golden brown.
