3 cups milk

Instructions

1.Mix oatmeal and salt in a bowl
2.Add milk gradually, stirring well
3.Pour mixture into a greased pudding basin

5.Place the basin in a large saucepan, and add enough boiling water to come halfway up the basin
6.Cover the saucepan and let it simmer for 2 - 3 hours, or until the pudding is firm
7.Check water level occasionally and add more boiling water if necessary
8.Remove from the heat and let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the basin
9.Serve warm with honey or cream
