Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, mix together the oatmeal and salt.
2.Heat the milk in a saucepan until warm, then pour over the oatmeal mixture. Stir until fully combined.
3.Grease a pudding bowl or a heatproof bowl with butter.
4.Pour the oatmeal mixture into the bowl and cover with parchment paper. Secure the paper with a string.
5.Fill a pot with water and place the bowl in the water.
6.Cover the pot and steam the pudding for 2-3 hours on low heat.
7.Once done, remove the bowl from the pot, let cool for 10 minutes, then remove the parchment paper and serve.
