Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, mix together 2 cups oatmeal and 1 tsp salt
2.Gradually add 3 cups milk, stirring until well combined
3.Pour the mixture into a buttered pudding basin and cover with a lid or foil
4.Place the pudding basin in a steamer over boiling water and steam for 2.5-3 hours
5.Serve hot with cream or custard
