vegetable oil cooking spray
3 cups dry rotini pasta , divided use
3 cans seasoned tomato sauce , for pizza , divided use
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup green pepper , cut into matchstick size pieces
1 can mushroom stems and pieces , drained , divided use
1 1/2 cups shredded 94 % fat-free mozzarella cheese or 1 1/2 cups 94 % fat-free mozzarella-cheddar blend cheese , divided use
24 slices turkey pepperoni , halved , divided use
1/2 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

1.Spray your crockpot with vegetable oil cooking spray.
2.Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned, then drain.
3.Add Italian seasoning to cooked ground beef and mix well.
4.Spread 1 cup of the dry rotini pasta evenly in the bottom of the prepared crockpot.
5.Pour 1 can of the seasoned tomato sauce over the pasta.
6.Add half of the cooked ground beef on top of the tomato sauce.
7.Add half of the chopped onion, green pepper, and mushroom stems and pieces on top of the ground beef.
8.Add 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese or mozzarella-cheddar blend cheese on top of the vegetables.
9.Add 12 slices of halved turkey pepperoni on top of the cheese.
10.Repeat the layers with another 1 cup of dry rotini pasta, 1 can of seasoned tomato sauce, the other half of ground beef, chopped onion, green pepper, and mushroom stems and pieces, and another 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese or mozzarella-cheddar blend cheese.
11.Add remaining 12 slices of halved turkey pepperoni on top of the cheese.
12.Sprinkle with finely shredded Parmesan cheese on top of the turkey pepperoni.
13.Cover crockpot and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3 hours.
14.Uncover and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
