2 cups chicken broth ( I used beef broth cause that 's all I had & it turned out fine )
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
4 chicken breasts
fresh cilantro
lime wedge
tomatoes , sliced
cabbage , shredded
1 avocado , peeled , pitted , and sliced

Instructions

6.Stir to combine and add chicken breasts.
7.Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and the sauce is thickened to your desired consistency.
8.Shred chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
9.Serve over rice, garnished with fresh cilantro, sliced tomatoes, shredded cabbage, and avocado slices on the side for added flavor and texture.
