Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 container ricotta cheese
4 cups mozzarella cheese
24 ounces spaghetti sauce
2 cups cheddar cheese
1/4 cup green onion , chopped
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of minced garlic
4 tablespoons basil
6 no-boil lasagna noodles
4 slices bacon
1 cup red bell pepper , chopped
2 cups Simply Potatoes & reg ; Shredded Hash Browns
2 tablespoons olive oil
Lasagna is a classic Italian dish made with wide, flat pasta sheets, layered with meat sauce and cheese. It originated in Naples and has since become a popular Italian-American dish. This crispy and oh-so cheesy version of lasagna is a perfect comfort food, ideal for a cozy dinner at home. The resulting crispy texture of the hash browns and cheese is irresistible. This recipe uses ground beef, bacon, cheese, and vegetables as ingredients for the filling. The combination of these ingredients creates a rich harmony of flavors unlike any other.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until brown. Add the minced garlic, red bell pepper, green onion, and bacon to the skillet and cook until vegetables are tender. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, basil, and hash browns and simmer for 5 minutes.
3.In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and gently stir in the ricotta cheese and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
4.Spread 1 cup of meat sauce over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place 3 uncooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spoon half of the cheese mixture over the noodles.
5.Repeat layering with 1 cup of meat sauce, 3 uncooked lasagna noodles, and remaining cheese mixture. Top with remaining meat sauce, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
6.Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown on top. Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
