Instructions

.In a small bowl, combine the buttermilk ranch dressing, chopped cucumber, milk, horseradish, wasabi powder (if using), salt, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to combine.
.In a large pot, bring the vegetable broth to a boil. Add the green beans to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the beans are bright green and slightly tender. Drain the beans and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
.In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. In another shallow bowl, combine the flour, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
.Dip the green beans in the egg mixture and then roll them in the flour mixture, coating them evenly.
.In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the green beans and fry until golden brown and crispy (about 2-3 minutes).
.Remove the green beans with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Serve immediately with the horseradish-wasabi dip.
