Ingredients

1 large tomatoes , roasted , peeled and chopped
1 small onion , chopped fine
1 clove garlic , minced
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 1 1/2 lbs cooked beef or 1 1/2 lbs cooked pork , shredded
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 corn tortillas , slightly warmed for easy rolling
1 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons milk
1/2 cup sour cream , thined with the milk
1 1/2 cups guacamole
shredded queso fresco or shredded farmer cheese
1/2 - 1 cup salsa

Crispy fried Tacos, also known as Tacos Dorados, are a traditional Mexican dish that is loved by many. These tacos are filled with delicious shredded meat and spices, then rolled up and fried until they are crispy and golden brown. Instructions

1.Mix together chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, minced garlic and 1 teaspoon vegetable oil and set aside.
2.Heat up shredded meat with 1/2 teaspoon salt and stir in tomato mixture.
3.Heat 1 cup vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
4.One by one, place tortillas in hot oil for about 15 seconds to soften. Remove from oil and fill with meat mixture (about 2 tablespoons per tortilla).
5.Roll filled tortillas around toothpicks and lay them seam-side down in the skillet for about 2 minutes on each side until they are crispy, golden brown and cooked through.
6.Remove toothpicks from tacos and serve with thinned sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, salsa and shredded cheese.
