3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup red wine
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon basil , dried
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
4 medium potatoes , peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
