2 cans great northern beans , rinsed and drained
1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
pesto sauce , optional for garnish ( optional )

Instructions

1.Heat 1 teaspoon of the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

3.Remove from pot and set aside.
4.Add the remaining 1 teaspoon oil to the pot and sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms until tender (5-7 minutes).
5.Stir in alfredo sauce, red pepper, beans, and chicken broth.
6.Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
7.Serve with pesto sauce if desired.
