Ingredients

1 lb sweetbreads ( veal are the best )
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash paprika
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup light cream
2/3 cup sliced mushrooms , pan fried in
1 teaspoon butter
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 package frozen puff patty shell , baked

Instructions

4.Gradually add in chicken broth and light cream, stirring constantly.

6.In a separate pan, fry the sliced mushrooms in a teaspoon of butter and add dry sherry.
7.In another pan, melt a tablespoon of butter and add sweetbreads, cooking for 5 minutes or until browned.
8.Add mushrooms and cream sauce to the sweetbreads, stir and serve in baked puff pastry shells.
