Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients; flour, icing sugar, butter, quick-cooking oats, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until crumbly.
3.Remove 3/4 cup of the crumb mixture and set it aside for later use.
4.To the remaining crumb mixture, add baking soda and melted butter. Mix well. Press the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
5.In another mixing bowl, combine caramel sauce and 1/3 cup flour. Mix until well combined. Stir in the dried cranberries, chopped dates, and chopped pecans. Spread the mixture evenly over the crust in the baking pan.
6.Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture over the top of the fruit mixture.
7.Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
