Ingredients

2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
3 garlic cloves , finely chopped
2 lbs fresh crabmeat
1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
2 chopped red chilies ( hot ones to be authentic )
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
Crabe Béninoise, also known as Beninese Crabs, is a popular seafood dish from the West African country of Benin. Instructions

1.In a large saucepan, boil the eggs for 10 minutes, then remove and set aside to cool. Once cool, peel and chop into small pieces.
2.In the same saucepan, sauté the onions and garlic for 5 minutes, or until softened.
3.Add the crabmeat, chopped tomatoes, and hot chilies to the saucepan and cook for another 5 minutes, or until heated through.
4.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
5.In a small bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs and chopped eggs.
6.Transfer the crab mixture to a 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top.
7.Bake the Crabe Béninoise for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
