Ingredients

6 no-boil lasagna noodles
1/2 cup onion , chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups lump crabmeat , break into bite-sized chunks
2 teaspoons dried basil , crushed
1 -2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1 garlic clove , finely chopped
2 cups half-and-half
1 package frozen chopped spinach , thawed , drained
1 carton part-skim ricotta cheese ( or half sour cream & half ricotta cheese )
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 package shredded mozzarella cheese
lemon wedge ( as suggested by mersaydees )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, and add onion. Cook until onion is translucent.
3.Add cornstarch and stir until smooth. Gradually add half-and-half, stirring constantly.
4.Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly.
5.Add crabmeat, basil, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic, and spinach to the saucepan. Stir until well mixed.
6.Combine the beaten egg and ricotta cheese in a mixing bowl.
7.Spread a thin layer of the crabmeat mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place 2 lasagna noodles over the crabmeat mixture, followed by another layer of the crabmeat mixture. Repeat the layers until all of the ingredients have been used, ending with a layer of the crabmeat mixture.
8.Spread the ricotta cheese mixture over the last layer of crabmeat mixture, and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
9.Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the lasagna is bubbly. Remove from oven and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
