Ingredients

1 lb country-style pork ribs ( about 4 large )
salt & pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons chili-garlic sauce ( sambal olek , more if you wish )
1/2 cup onion , chopped
1/2 cup celery , chopped
1 can creamed corn
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons mustard , grainy type
2 cups packed fresh spinach
8 ounces wide egg noodles ( we like garlic flavoured )
Country-style pork ribs are a great cut for braising, and slow-cooking them in white wine makes them flavorful and tender. This dish is perfect for a cozy dinner at home with friends and family. The addition of spinach and creamed corn provides nutrition and color to the dish. The garlic-chili sauce adds a spicy kick, but you can adjust the heat level to your liking. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2.Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
3.Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
4.Brown ribs on all sides.
5.Remove ribs and pour off excess fat.
6.Stir together wine, chili-garlic sauce, onion, celery, creamed corn, balsamic vinegar, and mustard.
7.Add ribs back into the pot, and pour wine mixture over the ribs.
8.Cover and bake for 1 1/4 hours until the ribs are tender.
9.Remove the ribs and set them aside.
10.Add spinach to the sauce and heat until wilted.
11.Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions until al dente.
12.Serve ribs with sauce over the top of the noodles.
