Ingredients

6 skinless chicken thighs

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
3 medium tomatoes , sliced
4 portobello mushrooms , sliced

1 sweet onion , chopped
1/3 cup Burgundy wine
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
2 tablespoons cornstarch ( optional )

Instructions

1.In a large dutch oven, heat olive oil. Add chicken thighs and brown for 3 minutes on each side.
2.Add garlic, Italian seasoning, tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
3.Add sweet onion and saute until tender.
4.Pour Burgundy wine into the dutch oven and let it cook off for 2-3 minutes.
5.Stir in heavy cream and gruyere cheese. Cook until the cheese has melted.
