Ingredients

2 lbs beef stew meat ( cut in 1-inch cubes )
2 large onions , sliced
1 cup water
4 -5 medium potatoes , pared , thinly sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese ( shredded )
3/4 cup corn flake crumbs

Instructions

1.Melt the shortening in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the beef and onions and cook until beef is browned and onions are soft.

3.Simmer for about 30-45 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
