1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup heavy cream , beaten to soft peaks
1 lb dried apricot , diced
1/2 cup cherries , finely diced ( glaceed )
1/2 cup angelica , finely diced or 1/2 cup citron
1 vanilla bean , split
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup Galliano
1/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, beat neufchatel cheese (or cream cheese), ricotta cheese, and salt until smooth.

3.Fold in the whipped cream.
4.Wet a heart-shaped perforated mold (or any shape you want) and pour cheese mixture into it. Smooth surface.

6.In a saucepan over medium heat, cook apricots, cherries, citron or angelica, sugar, vanilla bean, and 1/2 cup water until boiling.
7.Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes.
8.Remove from heat and stir in Galliano and lemon juice.
9.Refrigerate until needed.
10.To serve, remove mold from refrigerator and gently remove the dessert from the mold onto a plate.
11.Drizzle with apricot sauce before serving.
