Ingredients

Dough :
2 cups water
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup rice flour
Filling :
1 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup molasses
1 teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together water, vegetable oil, and salt until well combined.
2.Gradually add rice flour into the mixture and knead it well until you get smooth dough.
3.In a small bowl, mix together grated coconut, molasses, and cardamom powder.
4.Take a small ball of dough and flatten it out into a round shape using your fingers.
5.Add a spoonful of coconut and molasses mixture in the center of the flattened dough.
6.Gather the edges to seal and roll it into a ball.
7.Repeat the process until all the dough and filling are used up.
8.In a large pot, boil water and add the rice dumplings to it.
9.Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the dumplings float on top of the water.
10.Remove from the water and serve hot.
