2 eggs
1 cup milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
3.In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4.Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, and beat with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
5.Stir in the boiling water (batter will be thin).
6.Pour batter evenly into the prepared pans.
7.Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
8.Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack.
