3 1/4 cups sifted flour
3 tablespoons butter , softened
1/2 cup chopped raisins
2 tablespoons currants
2 tablespoons finely chopped citron
1/4 cup firmy packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand 5 minutes.
2.Add milk, sugar, salt, and flour, stirring until soft dough forms.
3.Knead dough on floured surface for about 5 minutes or until smooth.
4.Cover with damp cloth and let it rise for 1 hour.
5.Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness, cover with softened butter and sprinkle with a mixture of chopped raisins, currants, chopped citron, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
6.Roll up jelly-roll style, cut into slices and place in greased baking pan.
7.Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
8.Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
