1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 walnuts , whole and unshelled

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt.

4.Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

6.Mix in the raisins, walnuts, pine nuts, crushed anise seed, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Knead for another minute until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
7.Cover the dough with a damp towel and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
8.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Shape the dough into a round loaf and place on a greased baking sheet.
9.Brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place two whole unshelled walnuts on top.
10.Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing and serving.
