2 cups half-and-half cream or 2 cups cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded cheese ( whatever you like )
2 slices whole wheat bread
2 2 cups cheddar cheese ( combination ) or 2 cups parmesan cheese ( combination )
3 tablespoons butter , melted
