Ingredients

16 slices white bread , crust removed
16 slices back bacon or 16 slices ham ( etc )
16 slices sharp cheddar cheese
6 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup green pepper , finely chopped
1 -2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 cups whole milk
1 dash Tabasco sauce
1/4 lb butter

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2.Lightly butter a 9 x13-inch (23 x 33 cm) baking dish.
3.Cover the bottom of the dish with 8 slices of bread, crusts cut off.
4.Layer cooked bacon or ham on top of the bread.
5.Add another layer of bread slices on top of the bacon layer.
6.In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, dry mustard, minced onion, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and milk. Pour mixture over bread, bacon, and cheese slices.
7.Cover and refrigerate overnight.
8.In the morning, melt butter and pour over top of the dish.
9.Crush Special K cereal and sprinkle over the top of the butter.
10.Bake for 1 hour.
