5 ounces butter or 5 ounces margarine
3 ounces soft brown sugar
8 ounces whole wheat flour
4 ounces porridge oats
12 -16 ounces mincemeat

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C/ 160°C fan/ gas mark 4.

4.Press half of the dough into an 8-inch square tin.
5.Spread the mincemeat on top.
6.Crumble the rest of the dough on top of the mincemeat.
7.Bake for 25-35 minutes until golden brown.
8.Allow to cool before cutting into slices.
