2 tablespoons half-and-half
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
12 slices rye bread
1 English cucumber , thinly sliced
24 leaves fresh basil

Instructions

1.In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, half-and-half and chives together until smooth.
2.Place 6 slices of bread on a clean work surface and spread cream cheese mixture on each slice.
3.Top 6 of the slices each with thinly sliced cucumber and fresh basil leaves.
4.Place remaining bread slices on top and press gently.
5.Cut each sandwich into thirds, diagonally.
6.Serve and enjoy!
