Instructions

4.Gradually mix in the plain flour, baking powder, orange juice, and dark rum or cognac until you have a smooth batter and there are no lumps.
5.Pour the batter into the lined cake tin and smooth the surface with a spatula.
6.Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing and serving.
