12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips ( for sprinkling ) or 12 ounces granulated sugar ( for sprinkling )
confectioners ' sugar ( for sprinkling )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9x13 inch pan.
2.In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add in the egg yolks and vanilla extract.
3.In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients into butter mixture and mix until dough forms.
4.Flatten the dough and sprinkle some flour on top. Roll it out to 1/3 inch thickness and transfer to the buttered pan.
5.Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and press down lightly.
6.Bake for 20 minutes or until light golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar before serving.
