Ingredients

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups sugar

3 fluid ounces boiling water
3 eggs

1/3 cup butter
8 ounces sweet dark chocolate or 8 ounces dark semi-sweet chocolate
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons hot espresso or 2 tablespoons very strong coffee
Chocolate-mocha frosted brownies are a classic dessert that never gets old. The combination of rich chocolate and strong espresso creates a perfect harmony of flavors. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
2.Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add melted butter, hot water, and vanilla extract and mix until well blended and smooth. Beat eggs and stir into the mixture. Add chocolate chips and nuts and mix well.
3.Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
4.To make the frosting, melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler. Mix corn syrup and hot espresso in a small bowl and add into the chocolate mixture.
5.Beat with an electric mixer until smooth, then spread over the cooled brownies. Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until the frosting sets.
6.Cut brownies into servings and enjoy!
