Ingredients

1/3 cup milo
1/2 cup liqueur ( optional ) or 1/2 cup milk ( optional )
300 ml thickened cream
250 g gingernut biscuits
dark chocolate , grated , to serve

Instructions

1.Line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper.
2.In a small bowl, mix the milo and milk or liqueur until combined.

4.One at a time, dip each gingernut biscuit into the milo mixture, then place in the bottom of the cake tin to cover the base completely.
5.Spread a layer of whipped cream over the biscuits.
6.Repeat layers of biscuits and cream until all biscuits are used.
7.Sprinkle grated dark chocolate on top of the final layer of cream.
8.Cover the cake with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
9.To serve, remove the cake from the tin and cut into pieces.
