Ingredients

300 ml thickened cream , well chilled
1 liter prepared chocolate custard
1/4 cup strong black coffee
125 g roasted hazelnuts , roughly chopped
125 g dark chocolate
300 ml thickened cream
extra chopped chocolate

Instructions

1.Fold the cold thickened cream into the prepared chocolate custard and mix well.
2.Fold the strong black coffee into the custard mixture.
3.Add the chopped hazelnuts and mix them in well.
4.Pour the custard mixture into a 22cm x 10cm greased loaf pan.
5.Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.
6.Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Roughly chop the dark chocolate and sprinkle it over the top of the loaf.
7.Bake for 10 minutes or until the chocolate on top is melted.
8.Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer the loaf onto a wire rack to cool completely.
9.Once cool, sprinkle extra chopped chocolate (or hazelnuts) on top and serve.
