Ingredients

3 eggs , SEPARATED
8 ounces almond paste , sweetened
2 tablespoons cream
3 tablespoons cake flour
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
2 daim candy bars or 2 Skor candy bars , Heath bars
2 cups chocolate pieces ( missginsu believes IKEA uses milk chocolate , but prefers semisweet or dark )
1/3 cup cream
1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and set aside.
2.In a large bowl, beat together the egg yolks, sweetened almond paste, and cream until smooth.
3.Gradually add in the cake flour and powdered sugar, mixing until just combined.
4.In another bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually fold the egg whites into the batter.
5.Chop the Daim candy bars and fold them into the batter.
6.Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cupcakes are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
7.In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate pieces, cream, and butter together in the microwave or on a double boiler.
8.Spoon the chocolate ganache over the cooled cupcakes, using a spatula to smooth it out and garnish with chopped Daim candy pieces.
