Ingredients

3/4 cup blanched whole almond , toasted and chopped coarsely
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
4 ounces semisweet chocolate , chopped in 1/2 inch
Chocolate-Almond Biscotti is an Italian cookie made from a double-baked cake that originated in the city of Prato. It is long and crunchy, perfect for dipping in coffee or tea. Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.In a mixing bowl, beat the sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy.
3.Add the vanilla extract, baking powder, salt and mix.
4.Add flour and fold it until the dough comes together.
5.Stir in coarsely chopped almonds and chopped chocolate.
6.Transfer the dough to a baking sheet and shape it into a flat log.
7.Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
8.Remove from oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing it diagonally into 1/2-inch thick pieces with a sharp knife.
9.Place the slices back onto the sheet and bake for a further 10 minutes or until crispy.
10.Take it out of oven and let it cool completely before serving.
