2 lbs red jalapenos or 2 lbs green jalapenos
1/4 cup pecan wood chips

Instructions

1.Preheat the grill or smoker to 200-225°F.
2.Rinse the jalapenos and pat them dry with paper towels.

4.Add pecan wood chips to the grill or smoker during the smoking process, to add more flavor.
5.Remove the smoked jalapenos and let them cool for a few minutes. Once cool, slice off the stems and chop the jalapenos, removing the seeds and inner membranes.
