Ingredients

3 lbs flank steaks , trimmed of fat ( it 's hard to find a 3 lb flank steak so it might be more than one )
marinade
2 tablespoons minced chipotle chiles in adobo
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1/3 cup olive oil
3/4 cup red wine ( I prefer Merlot )
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons minced chipotle chiles in adobo
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons dijon-style mustard
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon allspice
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon kosher salt ( or to taste )
fresh ground black pepper

Instructions
