Ingredients

1 cup rice flour ( NOT glutinous rice flour )
1 cup cornstarch
3/4 cup water
4 cups taro root , washed , peeled and cubed
2 teaspoons shoyu
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups roasted pork loin , chopped
4 dried Chinese mushrooms
1/4 cup char siu pork , chopped
3 green onions , chopped
1/2 lb chinese olive , chopped ( lam see )

Instructions

1.In a bowl, combine rice flour, cornstarch, and water. Mix until a smooth batter is formed.
2.In a separate bowl, mix the taro root, shoyu, oyster sauce, and salt.
3.Soak the mushrooms in hot water until softened, then chop and add to the taro root mixture.
4.Add the roasted pork loin, char siu pork, green onions, and Chinese olive to the taro root mixture. Mix well.
5.Pour the taro root mixture into the bowl with the batter. Mix well.
6.Preheat the oven to 375F. Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
7.Pour the mixture into the pan. Bake for 1 hour.
8.Allow to cool. Cut into small squares and serve.
