oil ( for cooking )
1/2 cup water

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cut off the top of each green pepper, remove the seeds and rinse
2.In a frying pan, add oil and cook onion and mushroom over medium heat until onion is tender
3.Add beaten egg and cook until firm, break up any large pieces
4.In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked onion mixture, ground beef, cornflour, sherry wine, thin soy sauce, salt, sugar, and pepper
5.Stuff each green pepper with the beef mixture, place the pepper in a baking dish
6.In the same frying pan, add water, cornflour, thin soy sauce, sugar and stir until it's boiling
7.Pour the sauce over the green peppers and cover them
8.Bake for 45 minutes, take the cover off and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
