2 tablespoons chinese rice wine
1 1/2 tablespoons dark soya sauce
2 garlic cloves , crushed
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons ketjap manis
4 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

1.After cleaning the rump or kangaroo steaks cut them into thin strips.
2.Mix the cornflour and rice wine in a bowl.
3.Heat the oil in a pan and sauté onions until translucent.
4.Add the garlic and sauté for a few seconds.
5.Add the beef/kangaroo meat and brown it.
6.Add the Worcestershire sauce, dark soya sauce, sugar, tomato sauce, and ketjap manis.
7.Add water and stir well.
8.Cook the meat for 10-15 minutes or until it becomes tender.
9.Add lemon juice for a tangy flavor and serve hot with rice, chapati or mashed potatoes.
