Ingredients

4 cups sweet rice
2 cups jasmine rice
25 dried shiitake mushrooms
6 Chinese sausage ( lop chong )
1 lb Chinese barbecue pork , lean , store-bought
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
5 cups low sodium chicken broth
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 cup scallion , chopped
1 cup cilantro , chopped

Instructions

3.Cut Chinese sausage and Chinese barbecue pork into small cubes.

5.Add Chinese sausage and shiitake mushrooms. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until fragrant.
6.Add Chinese barbecue pork and stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes.
7.Drain the sweet rice and combine with jasmine rice. Add to the wok. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
8.Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chicken broth. Stir well and bring to a boil.
9.Reduce heat to low. Cover the wok and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the liquid is absorbed.
10.Turn off the heat and let the rice sit for 10-15 minutes. Garnish with chopped scallion and cilantro. Serve hot.
