Ingredients

4 lbs pork loin roast
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons white wine or 2 tablespoons rose wine
3 teaspoons hoisin sauce
3 cloves garlic ( minced )
3 drops red food coloring
1/2 cup sugar
3 teaspoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons Chinese bean paste
4 shallots ( diced )
4 tablespoons honey
Chinese Roast Pork is a staple in Chinese cuisine and is often seen in Cantonese-style roast meats. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, white wine or rose wine, hoisin sauce, garlic, red food coloring, sugar, oyster sauce, ginger, Chinese bean paste, and shallots.
3.Place the pork loin roast in a roasting pan and rub the sauce mixture all over it.
4.Drizzle the honey over the pork roast and roast in the oven for 40-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
5.Let the pork sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
