2 tablespoons green peppercorns , drained

1 pound Chinese yardlong beans
4 cloves garlic , finely chopped
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 small red chile pepper , seeded and chopped fine
2 tablespoons water

Instructions

1.Wash the Chinese yardlong green beans and cut off both ends.
2.Crush green peppercorns in a mortar and pestle.
3.Heat olive oil in a large pan on medium-high heat.
4.Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
5.Add the green beans and brown sugar and sauté for 2 minutes.
6.Add water and red chile pepper and stir until the water is absorbed.
7.Stir in the crushed green peppercorns and chopped cilantro and cook for an additional minute.
