1/4 cup water
canola oil ( or veg oil )
10 count burrito-size flour tortillas
1 head lettuce , shredded
16 ounces shredded cheese
salsa
sour cream ( optional )

However, this recipe for Chimichangas-turkey is a healthier alternative, as they are baked in the oven instead of deep-fried. The ground turkey is seasoned with fajita seasoning mix for a burst of flavour, and topped with shredded lettuce and cheese. Instructions

1.Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground turkey until browned.
2.Drain excess grease, then add fajita seasoning mix and 1/4 cup of water. Stir well to combine.
3.Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4.Preheat your oven to 400°F.
5.Place a spoonful of the turkey mixture in the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce and cheese.
6.Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll the tortilla up tightly, making sure the ends are tucked in.
7.Brush each chimichanga with oil and place them seam-side down on a baking sheet.
8.Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
9.Serve with salsa and optional sour cream.
