Ingredients

2 cups mashed panir
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 slice bread ( crusts removed , soaked in water and squeezed )
3 teaspoons cornflour
1/4 cup red capsicum , finely chopped
2 -3 finely chopped green chilies
2 -3 teaspoons green coriander , finely chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons asafoetida powder
salt and pepper
ghee ( for frying )
2 teaspoons ghee
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon brown sugar or 1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon vegetarian worcestershire sauce ( homemade or bonafide )
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon chili sauce or 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup water

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together mashed paneer, mashed potatoes, soaked and squeezed bread, cornflour, red capsicum, green chilies, green coriander, asafoetida powder, salt, and pepper.
2.Form the mixture into small patties or balls.
3.Heat ghee in a pan and fry the patties or balls until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
4.In a separate pan, heat 2 teaspoons of ghee and add lemon juice, brown sugar or honey, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, chili sauce or chili powder, mustard powder, tomato sauce, and water.
5.Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
6.Arrange the cooked patties or balls on a sizzler plate and pour the hot sauce over them.
7.Serve hot with rice or noodles.
