Ingredients

1 head lettuce , rinsed and dried and chopped into thin strips ( I used romaine )
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups fat free half-and-half
1 cup sweet peas , pureed
salt and pepper , to taste
chopped fresh dill ( to garnish )

Instructions

1.In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.

3.Reduce the heat to low and add the chopped lettuce, parsley, and dill, stirring to combine. Cook until the lettuce is wilted, about 10 minutes.
4.Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
5.In a mixing bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and half-and-half, then whisk in the pureed sweet peas.
6.Mix the pureed vegetables into the buttermilk mixture, adding salt and pepper to taste.
7.Cover and refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
8.8. Serve cold, garnished with chopped dill.
