Instructions

.Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
.Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the bacon for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
.Using the same pan, cook onions and garlic for 3-5 minutes, or until softened.
.Add the baked beans to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through.
.Add the diced cheddar cheese and Tabasco sauce to the pan. Stir until well combined.
.On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry until it is about 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) thick. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the pastry into 6 equal-sized squares.
.Spoon the bean mixture onto one half of each pastry square, leaving a border around the edge.
.Fold the other half of the pastry over the top of the filling and press the edges together to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
.Place the pasties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with milk.
.Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pasties are golden brown and puffed up.
.Serve the pasties hot with a side of mixed salad greens.
