Ingredients

1 kg chicken
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garam masala , ground
3 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 teaspoon food coloring ( orange or yellow )
2 teaspoons salt
1/3 cup oil
1/2 kg rice ( boiled )
1 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 coriander powder
2 chopped onions
4 tomatoes ( paste )
2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves ( finely chopped )
10 -15 mint leaves
4 green chilies ( finely chopped )
1 cup oil

Instructions

1.Marinate the chicken with red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, ground black pepper, garam masala, vinegar, food coloring, salt, and oil. Keep it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
2.Deep fry the chopped onions until they are golden brown. Take them out and set them aside for later use.
3.Pour the remaining oil into a pan and add chicken. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender.
4.Mix turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder in a bowl and add it to the chicken. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
5.Add boiled rice, yogurt, tomato paste, fresh coriander leaves, mint leaves, and green chilies to the chicken. Mix well and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
6.Garnish with fried onions and serve hot.
