Chicken Souvlaki is a popular Greek dish made with marinated grilled chicken. It is often served with vegetables or rice, and sometimes wrapped in a pita or flatbread. This Chicken Souvlaki Wrap is a variation on that classic recipe, made with a whole wheat tortilla and a creamy tzatziki sauce. The lemony marinade infuses the chicken with flavor, while the tzatziki sauce provides a tangy contrast. The wrap is perfect for a quick lunch or a light dinner, and can be easily customized with different vegetables or spices.

Instructions

1.In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 2 teaspoons olive oil, and 3 minced garlic cloves.
2.Cut the chicken breast into small cubes and add them to the bowl. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
3.In another bowl, mix the shredded cucumber, plain low-fat yogurt, 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice, and 1 minced garlic clove to make the tzatziki sauce.
4.Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken cubes to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
5.Warm the whole wheat tortilla by placing it on the skillet for a couple of minutes, then remove from the heat.
6.To assemble the wrap: Spread the tzatziki sauce on the tortilla. Add the cooked chicken, sliced tomatoes, lettuce leaves, and sprinkle with feta cheese. Roll up tightly and cut in half.
