Ingredients

1 1/2 cups boneless chicken ( mince )
2 cups refined flour ( maida )
salt
1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
2 tablespoons skim milk
2 tablespoons low-fat plain yogurt
3 -4 garlic cloves ( crushed )
1 inch gingerroot ( chopped )
2 green chilies ( chopped )
1 onion ( chopped )
4 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves ( chopped )

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, combine the refined flour, salt, and bicarbonate of soda.
2.Now add yogurt, skim milk and 1/3 cup of water and knead well to make a dough.
3.Cover the dough and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
4.Meanwhile, heat some oil in a pan and saute garlic, ginger, green chillies, and onion for 2-3 minutes.
5.Add chicken mince, salt as per taste, and cook for 8-10 minutes or until chicken is completely cooked.
6.Remove from heat and add coriander leaves. Mix well and keep the stuffing aside.
7.Divide the dough into eight portions and make small balls out of them.
8.Roll out each ball, and then add a tablespoon of chicken mixture in the center. Bring the edges together and seal it properly.
9.Roll these stuffed balls gently until it's about 1/4 inch thick, just like roti.
10.Heat a non-stick pan and place the kulcha upside down on it. Cook until both sides are slightly browned.
11.Brush it with ghee or butter and serve hot with chutney, curd or pickle.
